A true diver’s watch grail, the all new and regular production, production Seiko Prospex Marinemaster 1968 Heritage Reinterpretation (Ref. HBF001J1) offers the robust utility of Seiko’s famous 1968 diver’s watch, but updated with a luxurious level of finishing. Available with Seiko’s highly desirable satin finish black dial with a micro-grain surface carefully engineered to suppress light reflection while maximizing legibility even in the abyss.

As an update for standard production Prospex, we are presented with a glossy black ceramic bezel insert for increased durability.

In addition to the elegant construction, the new Marinemaster features Seiko’s hand-wound, in-house caliber 8L45 running at a hi-beat 28,800 vph for +10/-5 s/d accuracy and a substantial 3-day power reserve. Also included is an all-new three fold steel bracelet designed with an on-the-fly adjustment sliding clasp capable of extending up to 16mm in 2mm increments.
